ShelfGenie franchise owners have a lot to be excited about. Not only was 2016 an impressive year, but all signs point toward a great 2017 and beyond for the shelving solutions franchise.

Gathering under the theme of “One Team, One Brand,” ShelfGenie franchisees learned about the company’s performance in 2016 and what leadership has in store for the future. From awards to innovation, Conference 2016 was an exciting look at a dynamic brand.

ShelfGenie franchisees make lives better and make big sales

ShelfGenie franchise owners spend their days working to make their clients’ lives better by bringing new levels of
organization and accessibility to their homes. During Conference 2016, franchise owners learned about top performers across the brand, highlighting just how lucrative a shelving solutions franchise can be.

Awards were handed out to top performers in numerous categories, but one thing that jumped out at franchisees were the number of winners of the $5,000 and $10,000 Sales Award. Four franchisees took home awards for multiple single-sale tickets of $10,000 or more, while another four garnered praise for 20 or more sales of at least $5,000. All in all, the awards highlight more than $640,000 generated by just a handful of sales tickets out of a franchisee’s year.

ShelfGenie managers presented franchise owners Jessica DelCarmen and Craig Simon with Highest Yearly Sales Volume Awards for their franchise performance. Craig produced sales totaling $411,757, and Jessica’s franchise generated sales volume of $560,711.

While the Glide-Out shelving franchise company had a great year, Conference 2016 wasn’t just about touting performance. The future of ShelfGenie was everywhere.

Glide-Out shelving franchise looks to future

Conference 2016 attendees took part in more than a dozen learning sessions. Divided into tracks, each franchisee attended sessions hosted by some of the leading franchisees and experts in the industry, learning about best practices and upcoming trends and innovations.

Built around ShelfGenie’s franchise training and support infrastructure, each track, from Designer Track to Franchisee Track, provided attendees face-to-face information on topics such as generating referrals, 3D design and refreshers on how to install side-mount railings. The sessions provide franchisees the opportunity to ask questions and learn best practices for customer service and installation.

Franchise owners also took part in team-building exercises designed to put what they learned into practice. A design competition, for example, saw teams developing unique solutions to a problem, mocking up the problem in 3D, and then presenting their ideas to “clients” for judging. The top two teams took part in a “pitch-off” to demonstrate effective sales techniques.

“We’ve accomplished so much even in the past six months, and I can’t wait to see what our team can do by June 2017,” Allan said. “It’ll be an amazing experience.”
